Complications
  1. Airway trauma
    • Trachea, bronchus, glottis (larger, rigid tube)
  2. Malposition hypoxia, failed lung isolation, shift during positioning/operation 
  3. Sore throat/hoarseness risk higher than SLT
Could be divided into problems of insertion and isolation 
  • Insertion 
    • Difficult insertion / difficulty advancing tube 
    • Failed intubation 
    • Malpostitioned tube 
    • Airway trauma 
    • Increases sore throat compared to SLT
