Intrauterine fetal demise
Early onset (first week of life) = RDS, pneumonia, sepsis, meningitis
Late onset (1 week - 3 mos) = sepsis, meningitis, osteomyelitis
Routine screening at 36 weeks with vaginal and rectal swabs.
Pen G when expecting within 4 hrs of delivery and repeated every 4 hrs until delivery.
