  • Previous eclampsia or preeclampsia
  • Chronic HTN
  • T1 or T2DM
  • Autoimmune disease
  • CKD
  • Multiple gestation
Moderate risk factors
  • Nulliparity
  • FHx
  • Maternal age >= 35 yo
  • BMI > 30
  • Gestational diabetes
  • Pregnancy risk factors (e.g. SGA, ObHx of poor outcome, in vitro fertilization, interval between pregnancies >= 10 yrs)
  • Low SES
  • Black
Management
  • >= 1 high risk or >= 2 moderate risk factors --> ASA 81 mg PO daily initiated between 12-16 weeks gestation (as late as 28 weeks) continued until delivery.
