High risk factors
- Previous eclampsia or preeclampsia
- Chronic HTN
- T1 or T2DM
- Autoimmune disease
- CKD
- Multiple gestation
Moderate risk factors
- Nulliparity
- FHx
- Maternal age >= 35 yo
- BMI > 30
- Gestational diabetes
- Pregnancy risk factors (e.g. SGA, ObHx of poor outcome, in vitro fertilization, interval between pregnancies >= 10 yrs)
- Low SES
- Black
Management
- >= 1 high risk or >= 2 moderate risk factors --> ASA 81 mg PO daily initiated between 12-16 weeks gestation (as late as 28 weeks) continued until delivery.
