Commit #18621
You are a senior surgical registrar in a busy hospital. Your team consists of an international fellow, yourself, a female junior registrar, and two residents. Clinically, everything seems to be proceeding well during your term. You get along very well with all members of the team, and your consultants are very happy with your progress. The only conflict within the team seems to be between your fellow and the junior registrar. You get the impression that nothing she does is satisfactory for the fellow, and her morale is starting to fall. She is increasingly absent from her clinical duties, and actively avoids interaction with the fellow as her mere presence occasionally invokes anger or sarcasm from the fellow.
At your mid-term review, your supervisor of training asks how everything is going with the team, noting that the junior registrar seems to be sub-standard based on the fellow's assessment. How would you reply?
